West Pines Behavioral Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an experienced RN to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure staffing levels support high-quality behavioral health care. This role emphasizes leadership, patient safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will hold a current RN license, have 1+ year of RN experience (psychiatric preferred), and may have prior charge nurse responsibilities.
West Pines Behavioral Hospital is a new 144-bed inpatient behavioral health facility serving Denver area residents located at 11455 Huron Street, Westminster, CO. A joint venture between Intermountain Health and Acadia Healthcare. The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient services to address the growing need for accessible, high-quality behavioral health care in the Denver metro area.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for day to day oversite of nursing operations of the facility and ensures staffing is adequate to provide care. When scheduled, oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. As needed, collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
