Job summary

Midtown Oaks Post Acute in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities during your shift. You will ensure that care meets federal, state, and local standards and coordinate with the Director of Nursing when applicable.

You will supervise LVN/LPNs and CNAs, manage IV therapy, participate in orientation and training, and communicate with physicians, families, and other health professionals to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must have a BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.
• Current RN license and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of PCC EHR or similar electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Coordinate and participate in resident care and rounds.
• Administer IVs and supervise IV therapy.
• Supervise LVN/LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians, health professionals, and residents' families regarding care.
• Assist with admissions, emergencies, and care plan development.
• Maintain quality assurance and infection control practices.
• Oversee documentation and regulatory compliance.
