You will supervise Licensed Nurses, manage urgent patient needs, and coordinate care with the Director of Nursing Services.

Qualifications include a California RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year as staff nurse plus 3 years in management within an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• SNF supervision experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• One year staff nurse and three years management in an acute care facility.
• Nursing degree from accredited college or approved RN program required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Be courteous and cooperative when communicating with staff, residents, and the public.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing long-term care.
• Know and implement facility policies and procedures.
• Direct and assist licensed nurses in clinical areas.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
• React appropriately to emergencies and disaster situations.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Notify Administrator or Director of Nursing of serious situations.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
