Job summary

Avera Pediatric Specialists Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee the nursing department and respiratory therapy services in the Sioux Falls area. This leadership role partners with the Clinic Manager to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.

The position requires RN licensure and a proven ability to lead and develop teams, align staffing with budget goals, and implement department policies consistent with CARE values.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice
• Experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating care
• Ability to develop and implement department policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing department activities and staffing levels
• Coordinate patient flow and communications between nursing, physicians, and clinic departments
• Hire, train, and retain staff; assess performance and provide coaching
• Develop and update department policies, procedures, and competencies
