Job summary

The Laurels of Massillon seeks an RN Supervisor to lead nursing care and staff education in our skilled nursing facility in Massillon, OH. The role offers afternoon/midnight coverage with flexible hours where possible.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs/LPNs/CNAs, reviewing procedures, guiding care plans and guest assessments (MDS/CAA), and ensuring high-quality resident care. CPR certification and supervision in long-term care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
• Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by RN, LPN, CNA and others.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff.
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to guest assessments (MDS/CAA) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
• Evaluates guests’ responses to nursing interventions.
