This full-time/part-time role places you on shift-based schedules in a VA facility, guiding staff to deliver compassionate resident care consistent with regulations.

Ideal candidates hold an active VA RN license, BLS CPR, and 2+ years of nursing experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered VA RN license.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care to ensure safe, timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to staff on assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and document interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, teams, residents, and families about care changes.
• Prioritize care for multiple residents based on urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations and safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and professional leadership for a positive work environment.
