Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing operations on weekends in Virginia. This part-time role includes day shifts on alternate weekends, with daily pay options and competitive compensation.

You will oversee nursing staff, ensure physician orders and care plans are followed, monitor resident conditions, and promote regulatory compliance. Must hold VA RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience; strong communication and leadership are

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in VA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulators.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and implement and document interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Help manage multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership.
