Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing operations during weekend shifts at our 81-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. This part-time role offers daily pay and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote safe, compassionate resident care while coordinating with the care team and families. Candidates must hold VA RN licensure and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in VA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Solid knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate changes in condition or care needs with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
