This role requires a current CT RN license, supervisory experience, weekend on-call availability, and collaboration with the Nursing Director to maintain compliant operations and optimal resident well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing required.
• Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with long-term care and rehab nursing is a plus.
• Weekend on-call availability is required.
• Ability to coordinate with Nursing Director and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while complying with regulations.
• On-call responsibility every 4th weekend.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to maintain high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director on operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and physician directives.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper care and staffing.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff for emergencies.
• In supervisor absence, assume operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staff and notify physicians of significant changes.
