Rockport Healthcare Services seeks an RN Supervisor (Registered Nurse) to oversee nursing services and support the Director of Nursing Services in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on planning, organizing and directing resident care to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The nurse must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold CA licensure, and have at least one year of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in the state where practicing (CA).
• At least one year of experience in supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing and directing nursing services to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Initiate resident plans of care on admission and update as needed.
• Notify physicians and guardians of significant changes in a resident's condition as required by policy.
• Review complaints and grievances and report to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Supervise nursing personnel and participate in disciplinary actions and evaluations.
• Make resident rounds to ensure appropriate care and assist in assignments during shortages.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service classes.
• Perform nursing procedures as necessary and assist in admitting, transferring and discharging residents.
