Job summary

Boca Pointe Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day nursing department functions.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, reviewing staff grievances, maintaining medications and supplies, and supporting assessments and staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as an
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting
• Must meet state requirements for licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action against a professional license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications, medical supplies and equipment and notifies relevant personnel of needs.
• Develops written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of residents’ nursing needs.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend outside training programs.
