Job summary

Boca Pointe Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and coordinate day-to-day nursing operations for residents.

The role requires a nursing degree, CPR certification, and prior supervisory experience in long-term care. You will oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage staff assignments to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.
• Minimum one year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action against license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Reviews staff complaints and grievances and reports as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies to meet resident needs.
• Assists in developing assessments of nursing needs for each resident.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend external training programs and schedules times accordingly.

The Registered Nurse ( RN) Supervisor assists the Director of Nursing; plans, develops, organizes, and coordinates day-to-day functions of the nursing department.

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Supervisor Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Reviews complaints and grievances made or filed by staff. Makes appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required or as necessary.
• Ensures an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is always maintained on the unit to adequately meet the needs of the resident and notifies appropriate personnel of needs.
• Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend and participate in outside training programs and schedules times as appropriate.

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Supervisor Education and Experience:

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as an

• Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against a professional license.
