Job summary

The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing staff in our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee resident care, coordinate plans, and ensure compliance with health regulations while maintaining a high standard of client-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a NY RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year in long-term care.

Qualifications

Licensed RN in New York State.
Minimum 1 year of long-term health care experience.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Knowledge of Federal and State health regulations.
Experience with care plans and documentation.
Flexible schedule; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift.
Supervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary.
Performs duties of unit nurse if necessary.
Document patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointments.
Monitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident’s and family needs are being met.
Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units.
