Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• MS/BS in nursing or equivalent experience preferred.
• Licensed RN to practice in New York State.
• Experience with clinical leadership and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of nursing practice per facility guidelines.
• Performs assessment and interventions according to policies.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees influencing nursing practice.
• Documents care, admissions, discharges, and transfers per protocol.
• Monitors medications and reports errors promptly.
• Develops and updates resident care plans and MDS schedules.
