Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Labor & Delivery is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time role on a 36-hour workweek. The unit handles laboring and antepartum patients with a 12-hour night shift rotation, holiday and weekend rotations, and a focus on high-quality patient care.

The position requires an accredited nursing program completion, current RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and a BSN (with enrollment in BSN if not yet completed).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• BSN degree required; if not yet completed, enrollment within 1 year and completion within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Direct provision of patient care and coordination of patient care/outcomes.
• Assist manager with daily operations and allocation of resources.
• Staff development, supervision, and performance appraisal; participate in performance improvement.
