Job summary

The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a registered nurse to provide clinical oversight for In-Home Aide Services (IHAS) Family Support Workers who are licensed CNAs. You will perform nursing assessments and deliver instructions on the agency's personal care program.

You will evaluate medical necessity, develop nursing care plans, and supervise workers to maintain CNA licensure, playing a key role in the Baltimore City Department of Social Services IHAS program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current RN license from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• Notes: substitutions allowed for education/experience as described in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential and current In-home Aide Service customers to determine medical necessity.
• Write nursing observations and develop a nursing care plan for Family Support workers.
• Supervise, schedule, and monitor Family Support workers to maintain CNA licenses.
