Job summary

Avera at Home Milbank is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee home health operations. You will coordinate patient care, manage staff assignments, and participate in care conferences to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role includes supervising educational programs and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. Requirements include an active RN license, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of supervisory or admin experience in home health or related health

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice is required.
• Driver's license and insurability by employer.
• At least 1 year supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the agency.
• Review referrals and determine home care needs.
• Assign personnel to cases and coordinate care conferences.
• Oversee staff education and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety/environmental controls.
• Provide direct clinical patient care as needed and support branches.
• Lead performance improvement efforts and budget monitoring.
