Job summary

Encore Healthcare Services in Wilmington seeks an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure high-quality resident care. You will support the Director of Nursing and oversee nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and resident safety during the 7am-3pm shift.

The RN Supervisor is accountable for maintaining standards of care, guiding the team, and ensuring smooth overnight operations.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN License or Compact (Multi-State) RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience (long-term care preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SNF regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during overnight shift.
• Conduct rounds and monitor changes in resident condition.
• Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and physician order follow-through.
• Review and complete incident and medication error reports.
• Perform chart audits and compliance checks.
• Maintain infection control and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Support Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
