Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services in Alexander City, Alabama is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee nursing activities, coordinate staff, and evaluate daily care to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, an active RN license in this state, and demonstrated leadership ability.

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in this state.
• Must demonstrate leadership/supervisory ability and willingness to supervise other personnel.
• Prior experience as an RN Supervisor in a long-term care setting is preferred.

• Provide nursing supervision, coordination, and evaluation of day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility.

Responsibilities:

• The RN Supervisor is responsible to provide nursing supervision, coordination, and evaluation of the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Must possess leadership/and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Prior experience as an RN Supervisor in a long-term care community is preferred.
