Marcella Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a part-time night-shift role in Virginia. You will lead nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality resident care in a supportive facility.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining safety standards while promoting a compassionate work environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• BLS/CPR certification required
• 2+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting
• No supervisory experience required; training provided
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care to ensure safe, effective, timely patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff on assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and document interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families about changes in condition or care needs.
• Manage multiple residents and prioritize care based on urgency.

Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
