Job summary

Marcella Post Acute is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time night shift. You will lead nursing staff, ensure safe and high-quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance in a 180-bed facility. Daily pay and shift differential are available.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, coordination of care, and adherence to all nursing standards. Qualifications include an active Virginia RN license and BLS CPR certification, with at least two years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN licence in the state of Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centres.
