Job summary

Atlantic View Post Acute is seeking an RN Supervisor to join our team in Newport News, VA. This full-time role supports daily nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads nursing staff to promote optimal resident outcomes.

Shift: 3 PM–11 PM with an evening differential of $1.50. All-inclusive pay ranges from $38 to $60 per hour. Daily Pay available. We offer tuition reimbursement, benefits, and a supportive work culture focused on passion, respect and excellence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active RN license in VA.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of VA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
