Job summary

The Health Center at Bloomingdale is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing and aide staff on weekends on an every-other-weekend schedule. The role focuses on resident care, documentation, and coordinating with the Director of Nursing for continuous quality improvements.

Ideal candidates will have NJ RN licensure, RN certification, and at least one year of experience in long-term care, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Long Term Care.
• NJ Registered Nurse License is required.
• 1 year of experience in Nursing.
• 1 year of experience as a RN Supervisor.
• RN - Registered Nurse certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and aides in a Long Term Care facility, promoting quality care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to implement changes and ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct resident assessments, monitor care, and report changes to leadership.
• Ensure accurate documentation of resident care, including MARs, nurse notes, and physician orders.
• Liaise between nursing staff and physicians, managing calls during off-hours as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment with proper supplies and functioning equipment.

Job Summary

Bloomingdale Health Center, a five-star quality skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and aides, implementing recommended changes, and ensuring optimal resident care. Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and aides in our Long Term Care facility, promoting a culture of excellence and quality care
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to implement recommended changes and ensure seamless facility operations
• Conduct resident assessments, monitor care, and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including MARs, nurse notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders, and treatment records
• Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls to physicians during off-business hours
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all supplies are in proper place and equipment is functioning properly

Requirements
