The facility emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement. The RN must hold a CT license with CPR/BLS, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in CT.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• Resident-centered approach with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing operations on the unit.
• Supervise and coordinate care by RNs, LPNs, CNAs.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess residents and monitor conditions.
• Provide direct nursing care including IVs and labs as ordered.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; coordinate with team.
• Maintain timely documentation of medical status and changes.
• Communicate with families, POAs, and physicians about status.
• Oversee assessments and ensure care plans are up to date.
