Marcella Post Acute, backed by Marquis Health Consulting Services, is hiring an RN Supervisor on a full-time basis. Evening and night shifts are available, with same day pay and shift differentials to reward after-hours leadership.

The RN Supervisor will lead nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support staff to deliver high-quality, compassionate resident care in a 180-bed facility. This role emphasizes clinical leadership and teamwork with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
