Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, NY is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations during your scheduled shift, ensure residents receive high‑quality care, support staff, and uphold regulatory compliance in a safe, positive environment.

The ideal candidate holds an NYS RN license, with 1 year in geriatric or rehab settings and leadership experience; Salaried position with full benefits, sign‑on bonus up to $7,500, and a 3pm–11pm or 11pm–7am schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required; NYS RN license required.
• 1 year RN experience in geriatric or rehabilitation settings; 3+ years preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure resident care plans are implemented and followed.
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and documentation.
• Address concerns from residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and overtime as needed.
• Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and resident rights.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in QAPI initiatives.
