Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Beacon is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing operations on your shift, ensuring high-quality resident care while supporting staff and maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team, coordinate care plans, monitor conditions, and promote a safe, positive environment for residents and families. Strong leadership and geriatric/nursing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• RN leadership and supervision experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills required
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated
• Perform resident assessments and notify providers/families of changes
• Oversee medication administration and nursing services
• Address concerns from residents, families, visitors and staff
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and overtime as needed
• Support staff education, orientation and performance management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Respond to emergencies and safety issues
• Participate in QAPI initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
