Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating patient care within designated departments. The role includes serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and stepping in as a staff nurse when needed, with managerial duties delegated by a manager.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in the state or compact, BLS certification or timely completion, and unit-specific certifications as

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
