Job summary

Mercy is seeking a qualified nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as a staff nurse when needed.

Expect responsibilities including assume managerial duties as delegated, and maintain an RN license in the hiring state or compact, with BLS required within 30 days of hire. ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC may be required based on unit.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in patient care.
• RN license must be maintained in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM).

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care for designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
