Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to support operations and patient care in designated areas. The role includes acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients and stepping in as staff nurse as needed while taking on delegated managerial duties.

The incumbent will uphold Mercy’s mission and service standards throughout daily duties. Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing program degree, MO or compact licensure, and a minimum of two years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

RN license in MO or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS and other unit certifications may be required within timeframe
Minimum 2 years of patient care experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Supervisor/leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department
Function as staff nurse in the department as needed
Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager
Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards
