Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU, working full-time days. The role assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

You will perform staff nurse duties as needed and may assume managerial tasks delegated by a manager, upholding Mercy’s mission, values and service standards. Expect collaboration with a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care required.

Position Details

RN -Supervisor- Cardiac ICU - FT Days

Monday-Friday

Education

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.

Licensure

• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
