Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing teams and ensure high-quality resident care in Virginia. This role offers FT or PT schedules with 3 PM–11 PM or 11 PM–7 AM weekend shifts and daily pay options.

The successful candidate will supervise nursing care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support staff with strong leadership and clear communication to promote safe, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active VA RN license.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
