Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee weekend nursing staff and ensure high-quality care in a 55-bed post-acute setting on the RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton campus.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, LTC or similar acute care experience, and strong communication. Perks include weekends, part-time/PRN options, and comprehensive benefits. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required.
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends, ensuring residents receive exceptional care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor the quality of nursing care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff as needed.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling and supervising weekend shifts.
• Address and resolve resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities and incidents.

RN Supervisor Qualifications:

• RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Weekend Requirement:

This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
