Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is hiring an RN Supervisor for the weekend shift (11-7) at our 55-bed post-acute care center on the RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton campus. The role oversees weekend nursing staff, coordinates patient care plans, and ensures high-quality care in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Professional communication and confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends, ensuring residents receive exceptional care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Monitor quality of nursing care and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling for weekend shifts.
• Address resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and incidents.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor the quality of nursing care provided and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, offering coaching and mentorship as needed.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling and overseeing nursing personnel during weekend shifts.
• Address and resolve any resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities and incidents.

RN Supervisor Qualifications:

• RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Weekend Requirement:

This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
