Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is recruiting an RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing staff at our 55-bed post-acute care center in Hamilton Township, NJ. The role involves coordinating weekend coverage, assessing residents, and ensuring high-quality care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in New Jersey is required.
• Experience in acute care LTC or similar settings is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans with the team.
• Monitor quality of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coach and mentor nursing staff as needed.
• Manage weekend staffing, scheduling, and supervision.
• Address resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and reporting of patient care activities.

NOW HIRING: 3-11 RN Supervisor

RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care.

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Monitor the quality of nursing care provided and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, offering coaching and mentorship as needed.

• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling and overseeing nursing personnel during weekend shifts.

• Address and resolve any resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities and incidents.

RN Supervisor Qualifications:

• RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Weekend Requirement:

This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
