Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state employed.
• Peripheral IV certification required.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily nursing care delivery and staff performance.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to identify and improve service areas.
• Identify problems in nursing care delivery and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Initiate investigations of accidents and staff interviews.
• Interpret policies to staff, residents, and government agencies.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information.
