Job summary

Providence Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Mercy Fitzgerald, a 129-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor nursing staff to promote safe, high-quality resident care.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with a starting pay of $38–$60 per hour, all-inclusive, along with a benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff, and regulators.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
