Job summary

Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Babylon, NY is seeking RN Supervisors for all shifts to join our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee total care and safety for residents and staff, supervise nursing personnel, and ensure high-quality patient care across units.

The ideal candidate holds NY RN licensure, has at least 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care, and demonstrates strong leadership, documentation, and knowledge of relevant health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as RN in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State health regulations.
• Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills.
• Flexibility in work hours.
• BLS Certification.
• RN License in NY

Responsibilities

• Oversee total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift.
• Supervise and assist nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary.
• Perform duties of Unit Nurse when necessary.
• Document patient histories, administer medications and care as needed, coordinate appointments.
• Monitor residents to ensure plans are followed and needs are met for residents and families.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The ideal candidate will oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift
• Supervises and assists all nursingpersonnel in their work performance when necessary
