Job summary

New Solutions in Washington, DC seeks an RN Nursing Supervisor for night shifts to lead a 50-bed rural facility, overseeing admissions, bed occupancy, and care coordination to ensure efficient operations and patient flow.

The role reports to the CNO and requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, an active RN license, and 3–5 years of acute care experience; ACLS/BLS/TNCC/PALS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license active and in good standing.
• 3–5 years acute care nursing experience across departments.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• House Supervisor for a 50 bed rural facility.
• Analyze data on admissions, transfers, and bed availability to optimize care and bed utilization.
• Ensure appropriate admission level of care and bed assignment with collaboration among physicians and nursing leadership.
• Act as Administrator on Duty in the absence of the CNO and oversee hospital operations.
• Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

RN Nursing Supervisor-Nights

(\$15,000 Sign-ON Bonus, Relocation Assistance, Competitive Compensation Package)

Position Responsibilities:

• House Supervisor for a 50 bed rural healthcare facility.
• As the House Supervisor, will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability in specified clinical areas to improve patient care and maximize bed utilization.
• Will ensure the patient is admitted to the most appropriate admission level of care and bed assignment available using criteria for admission and shall function as a liaison for Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other integral stakeholders ensuring efficient operations.
• In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, acts as the Administrator on Duty to make administrative decision, provide direction and supervision with operational issues for all hospitals departments.
• Reports to the CNO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Three (3) to five (5) years acute care clinical nursing experience. Experience in a variety of acute care nursing departments
• Advanced knowledge of Case Management and Utilization Review processes, including but not limited to, InterQual and acute-care patient status regulations and guidelines.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, TNCC and PALS preferred.
