Job summary

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team in Somers, NY. This role oversees shifts, mentors staff, and ensures high-quality resident care in a fast-paced setting.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, provide clinical guidance, and ensure compliance with CMS and NY DOH requirements while supporting staffing and daily operations. Salary up to $125,000 with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in NY.
• Experience supervising in SNF/LTC preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and surveys.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on assigned shifts.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, individualized nursing care.

• Monitor resident conditions and respond to health changes.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with staffing coordination and daily operations.
• Support QA, infection prevention and risk management efforts.
• Maintain survey readiness and assist during surveys.

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, provide clinical leadership, mentor nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care.

• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or Long-Term Care setting preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to effectively lead a multidisciplinary nursing team.
