Job summary
The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Somers, NY is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. You will oversee nursing operations on your assigned shift and provide clinical leadership to the team.
Applicants must hold a current NY RN license, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and ensure compliance with CMS and NY DOH regulations. Evening and night shifts are available, and this is an in-person, on-site role at our
Qualifications
- Active RN license in NY
- Experience supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in skilled nursing or rehab settings
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
- Knowledge of CMS and NY DOH regulations
Responsibilities
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during shifts
- Ensure safe, compassionate, individualized nursing care
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to health changes
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure CMS/DOH compliance and survey readiness
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Assist with staffing and daily nursing operations
- Support infection prevention and risk management initiatives
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
