Job summary

Kearsley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires an active PA RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Weekend rotation and shift coverage are available, with competitive pay of $38–$60 per hour and daily pay options. You will supervise staff, coordinate patient care, and build a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience caring for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
