Job summary

Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time role (7 am–7 pm, weekends) in a 121-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility in Pennsylvania. The supervising RN will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead nursing staff to promote high-quality resident care.

Competitive hourly pay and daily pay options offered. Qualified candidates hold an active Pennsylvania RN license and BLS CPR certification, with at least two years

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No prior supervisory experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulators.
• Solid knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Manage multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership.

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
