Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 annually
Union Plaza Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of nursing excellence. As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee daily nursing operations, provide guidance and support to clinical staff, and help ensure exceptional outcomes for our residents.
Support the DON and ADON in overseeing daily nursing operations.
Supervise professional and non-professional staff, ensuring quality care delivery.
Manage unit staffing to maintain proper coverage and minimize overtime/agency use.
Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion.
Provide coaching, progressive counseling, and disciplinary action as needed.
Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Oversee MDS completion and quality assurance initiatives.
Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate nursing skills to support staff development.
Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of nursing personnel.
Attend committee meetings and contribute to facility-wide goals.
Step into nursing responsibilities on weekends/holidays as needed.
Current RN license in New Jersey.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar setting (preferred).
Previous long-term care experience strongly preferred.
Minimum 6 months’ experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
