Job summary

Beacon Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Rockaway Beach, NY. You will oversee nursing activities and ensure high-quality resident care on a 120-bed unit by supporting the DON and direct care staff.

As an RN Supervisor, you will supervise day-to-day operations, assist in charting and documentation, and promote infection-control practices while maintaining a positive, family-like work environment with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Valid New York RN license.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care.
• Commitment to infection-control policies and safe medication handling.

Responsibilities

Beacon Rehab and Nursing Center is actively seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our great team.

We are a 120 bed facility in Rockaway NY, located right on the the peaceful Rockaway Beach boardwalk. Our nursing team is caring, energetic, and positive. Join our supportive team and use your skills in an environment that appreciates you!

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

As an Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to ensure that you and your nurses are properly caring for our residents.

• Support the DON in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities.
• Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff
• Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
• Protect residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
• Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records
• Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
