Rockaway Care Center in New York, NY is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active RN license and a compassionate, patient-focused approach. You will supervise staff, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with families and physicians to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and committed to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies and procedures.
• Develop care plan that demonstrates knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents' specific needs based on health care problem(s).
• Carry out care plan that demonstrates familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomes.
• Implement physicians’ orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Complete new admissions and assessments.
• Interact with families, doctors and other professionals.
