Job summary

Park Avenue Extended Care in Long Beach, NY is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during evening and overnight shifts, ensuring high-quality care for residents. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee care plans, and serve as liaison with Unit Manager, while maintaining accurate records and responding to medical emergencies.

Qualifications include RN license in New York, BLS/CPR, Infection Control, and relevant training; nursing home and SigmaCare experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or ARC).
• Infection Control Certificate.
• NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate.
• Nursing Home experience preferred.
• SigmaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
• Review daily patient conditions, occurrence reports, and handle medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare nursing care statistics.

Location: Long Beach, New York

Shift: Part-Time (Evening & Overnight)

Salary: $55/hour
