Job summary

Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time night shift (11 PM–7 AM, weekend hours). The role leads nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA RN license and BLS CPR, with at least 2 years of nursing experience. You will supervise care, coordinate teams, and promote a positive work environment while adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered PA RN license.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
