Job summary

Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Norristown, PA, is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time weekend shift (7am–7pm). You will lead nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active PA RN license and BLS, with 2+ years of nursing experience. No prior supervisory experience required; tuition reimbursement, benefits, 401(k) match, and shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
