Job Title: RN Supervisor at Samba Care

Responsibilities:
- Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including safety devices, positioning, toileting, and infection control measures.
- Coordinate and supervise services on assigned units to create a comfortable, homelike atmosphere for residents.
- Conduct regular rounding on nursing units, check on staff and residents, and greet new admissions.
- Ensure staff treats residents with dignity and respect, and follows facility policies.
- Create a team-oriented environment that enhances resident care and quality of life, supporting nurses with assessments, care planning, task management, and education.
- Monitor incident, accident, and complaint reports; assist in root cause analysis and safety improvements; communicate with all responsible parties.
- Facilitate communication between nurses, providers, and vendors to meet resident needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation through supervision and spot checks.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with documentation.
- Consult with Unit Managers on care continuity, staffing issues, and ongoing problems.
- Exercise hiring and termination authority.
- Coordinate communication between staff and management.
- Assist in staffing the nursing department and discipline staff as needed.
- Supervise equipment use and recommend supplies to the DON.
- Assist in direct resident care and perform staff nurse duties as necessary.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN.
- Minimum one-year experience in long-term care; supervisory experience preferred.
